IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations
The requirements of the ICAO/IATA regulations are relative to the transportation of dangerous goods by air. Air shipments are subject to different regulations than shipments by ground or vessel. Persons planning to ship dangerous goods by air must first be trained and certified in the ICAO/IATA regulations before attempting to ship by air. This online training meets the training requirements for personnel who are involved in the preparation of dangerous goods air shipments. The course is designed to provide the student a clearer understanding of how to use the IATA manual and apply the regulations. Failure to comply with the ICAO/IATA regulations can result in fines, delayed and rejected shipments, injury and more. Refresher training MUST be completed every 24 months.
